Hand reading is making guesses about the cards an opponent may be holding. Based on the past actions of the opponent, a player can make conclusions regarding which hands the opponent might be holding. For this a player requires is required to be very observant. He has to watch each and every action of all his opponents. Telling signs are signs that an opponent conveys to the player through his actions and behavior. These telling signs can be very helpful for players as they can modify and change their actions according to it, they may even induce the other player to make mistakes. A player should be able to guess and judge these tell signs which are often non verbal. For example if a player can judge and see that an opponent has missed a draw, the player may decide to go for a bluff.
