Loose players

There can be loose or tight plays by players. Loose players are usually the ones who generally do not fold and continue to play with weak hands. These players play more hands. As opposed to this, tight players play very few hands. They often do not continue with weak hands and fold up. Bluffing and semi bluffing techniques are not very effective against loose players as they do not generally fold. A very extreme case of loose player can be a novice. For good players of the game, a loose table can be profitable. For tight players they can be unbeneficial as they can loose good hands to bad players. When sitting at a loose table, the player should play more suited cards, small pairs and should fold when he feels the hand is not improving. They select their hands carefully to increase their chances of winning.  No limit and high limit games require playing tightly. The tight tables are where most players play tightly and these are generally less profitable than loose tables.
